You know about that. !We can go to 34xx by 34xx boot.bin
The different is
- with hwid 1101 --> boot = Fail
- with hwid 1376 --> boot = Pass
all reversible process.
Logo above not from 34xxLogo.bin., just from 37xx Logo.bin file

Does anybody know how to get nuvi 34xx on inventory page, because after upgrade I still have nuvi 3790? I just flashed with original 34xx firmware v3.5 converted gcd to rgn and added 34xx logo. Seems like this doesn't affect functionality, but I'm curious.

Your 3790 is ok to show 3790., don't try to change to 37xx or 34xx.

OK, thanks. BTW modifying NVram it's possible to flash Nuvi 3790 to SG/MAL or CHN latest firmware. Pity, but I don't know which way modify NVRam. On garniak.pl forum is hint from PouchX. But it's too complicated for me. Originally Posted by aekhong
