    If you have win 7 right click on updater.exe and make compatibility with windows xp sp3 and run as administrator.
    Put finger in uper left corner and hold finger on screen.
    With other hand connect nuvi to pc and updater.exe will recognize nuvi.

    As I've written before white screen with "Touch dot" appears and the device isn't detected anymore.
    Maybe if I start flashing it will stay in pre-boot mode?

    And this happens only if the device is connected to the PC. It's written everywhere that I shoul access pre-boot mode and AFTER that I connect the device.
    My situation is if don't connect the device just turns off.
    I will redo the procedure once again later today.
