Today, Perry's archive is 404. Although the directory page was archived by archive.org, none of the leaf files were.
Download.garmin.com/... is also 404.
I have not tried GetGarminSingleUpdate_cli.php yet, because I haven't determined my HWID. What are the HWID's for the Nuvi 2589?

Garmin will only offer the current version of the device's firmware if it needs updating. GarminExpress will do that for you. Originally Posted by VintageDave

Must have been a temporary outage at Garmin or I used a bad link, today it downloaded using your link above.
But Perry is still down. Pity!
I also managed to get my HWID using G7ToWin.
To use G7ToWin, the Garmin drivers must be explicitly downloaded and installed - installing Garmin Express does not install them.
