Thanks a lo for your help you point me in the right direction I copy the voice files to the same garmin folder where the map folder is /storage/sdcardo0/garmin and now is working.
One last question I have a Zenfone 2 with intel is there a garmin version that works with intel chips??

StreetPilot on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini (SM-G800F, Android 4.4.2, phone & SD install) is working slowly. Map rendering is very slow, the map shows the fraction by fraction. I tested all available apks and each time is the same.

Apk /storage/sdcard0/Garmin works on Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Android ver 5.0.1 (not rooted). Garmin folder has to be placed in phone memory. Not in extSdCard. As mentioned in other posts, SP is sensitive to the .img file put in the Map folder. Initially I couldn't get it to work because I was using .img files that are about two years old. Either crash or map not detected. But finally got it to work after downloading a current version of an .img file. Lastly the apk /storage/extSdCard/Garmin does not work (with Garmin folder in external SD card).

On Android 5.0.1 SP work from external SD:
This path don't work for external SD: /storage/extSdCard/Garmin
This path work for external SD: /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/
You must add Garmin folder in Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/ folder.
After install SP apk turn phone off/on and all will work like charm on your phone from external SD

Just tried lolypop000's instructions above and SP does work on external SD card. A quick play around with the app seems to indicate it performs better with the Garmin folder on external SD card. Smoother and less of the occasional reduced (half) display in Landscape mode. Plus save on phone memory space. Many thanks.
