Perhaps try /storage/sdcard1/Android/data/... path if you are not rooted. If rooted, I remember reading about using an app to allow access to sdcard.
Or install on internal memory if enough space.
i instaled the apk on the internal memory the name was storage/sdcard0 it seems to work ok ,opened without the mesage as my post #123 , but i dont remember somewhere in the forum i have read that we have the choice to put the application on the internal and the maps on the external sd ,but i cant find this .any help ???

The application always installs internally. The Garmin folder with maps, voices, languages... can be created internally or externally.
So you need to use the apk with proper path for your device for your memory of choice. Again, it is a known problem with Kitkat not allowing full access to sdcard if you are not rooted and have not removed the restriction. In that case try path with "Android/data" in it.
