Perhaps try /storage/sdcard1/Android/data/... path if you are not rooted. If rooted, I remember reading about using an app to allow access to sdcard.
Or install on internal memory if enough space.

The application always installs internally. The Garmin folder with maps, voices, languages... can be created internally or externally.
So you need to use the apk with proper path for your device for your memory of choice. Again, it is a known problem with Kitkat not allowing full access to sdcard if you are not rooted and have not removed the restriction. In that case try path with "Android/data" in it.

Yes, install the apk and run it. If you get to Main page then the path is correct. Now overwrite Garmin folder in .. /files/Garmin. Also create Map folder inside Garmin and put maps in there.
Hi again Flagmax.
As mentioned earlier, I get a strange background on the map on my Galaxy TAB 3 lite, running 4.2.2 and 1024x600.
I have updated to the latest firmware, etc. as suggested.
Can you not perhaps create an APK specifically for 1024 x 600?
I see the device is listed as working on the other thread where working/non working devices are shown.
Wish I can determine who that chap was so I can hear which method he used.
Thanks
It's sad that the firmware update didn't helpIf you remove all maps except basemap, does it mess up still? Have you tried different country map? Here is a small map of Fresno, California USA
Spoiler: fresno, ca
I don't have much time right now to work on different resolutions and also doubt it would help you because the menus are ok but the map view is bad.
I don't know where that working list came from or how accurate it is.
I wish I had better answers for you.
Hi guys. I have installed it on Umi C1 and it works:However it feels too heavy and slow for the device, in comparion for instance with Navitel or 7 Ways which run very smoothly. Is there something wrong or does it really consume a lot of resources (memory, CPU, etc.)?Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
