I can't see them at all. Using Note 2. And Garmin City Navigator Thailand 2014.20. I used the same .img on my Oregon 200 and all POI are here.
Installation went without problems.
I just copied the .img, but there are only the streets without any POI. If I search or want to travel somewhere all is there, just it isn't shown on the map.
I feel a bit stupid......

POI in simulation/navigation

Ok, this can i see, but i can not see POI icon in Search. In POI folder is my own POI file, that i want to use.

You can't see pois list in the Custom POIS search but the trick is, when you name the pois you should give the prefix or suffix common keyword name of the group then you can search your Custom POIS list by keyword common name in Where to.
