It looks like streetpilot works on 2 tablets so far:

    Galaxy Tab 2
    Huawei MediaPad

No other tablets were reported working

Still no streetpilot works on Android 4.2

Ola, I'm a little stuck here, a week ago I bought a Padfone 2 64Gb version. The padfone has eMMc memory, so internal memory, not an external SD card.
Although I had StrPlt running on my old trusty Motorola Defy+, (rooted, running Android 4.2.2), I just cannot get it going on the padfone 2.
I tried different libgarminos.so , tried the padfone version 2.26 but: no joy.
the padfone is rooted and a CWM recovery is installed.

Any new insights are very welcome as I really like the StreetPilot interface.

    @Catymag
I own a Galaxy S3 and unfortunately (!) I received the release 4.3 of Android - of course, the SP navigator does not work any more.
I searched into the threads, but I coudn't find it any more: I remember that in one of your posts you suggested another navigator that in your opinion was very valid. Which was it?? Sorry for the OT and best regards.

    Hi

after some days of reading this thread and related I managed to install Garmin SP 2.22 on my LG E420i.
It works fine from the external SD-card. The installation file I used was the >StreetPilot_storage_external_SD.apk< matching the name of the external storage card.
Also the Garmin map works (City Navigator Europe NT(Unicode) 2014.30).

The problem I have now is the small screen size of the phone. The resolution is 320 x 240 pixels. All the Garmin buttons, menues and text size is too big, so the StreetPilot cannot be used.

Please, could anybody help me to solve this problem?
Reading all the posts here and other related threads in the forum did not really help, maybe I am too stupid to understand it.

    Thank's for helping!

    Best regards

Angry StreetPilot on Asus Padfone 2 64GB

I bought a replacement for my Padfone 2 that was recently stolen, from Taiwan. It came with StreetPilot 2.23 running on it. It only has Taiwan Maps, Chinese/English interface. I've managed to get it running Thailand maps, but struggle to change the text interface - voices are OK.

Update - I can't get this working on the Asus Padfone. It seems that none of the available libgarminos.so files are able to reference the actual storage location on the Padfone. Tried installing to SDcard0 and the default special partition used by the original install. Even when I just updated maps in the original StreetPilot locations, the maps were OK, but voice and text never work correctly. Either text was missing or voice was missing!
