Thread: Install Garmin Street Pilot v.2.16 Samsung Galaxy Android 4.1.2 Detailed Instructions&Pics

I installed Streetpilot apk for 4.1.2 on external sd I copied libgarminos and libgmxt apk works from the start just battery bar and satelite bar not working.
Does anybody have some other libgarminos and libggmxt that I can try the phone is Huawei P1 U9200 rooted and cyanogen moded to 4.1.2 JB

catymag I cant download from that website can you please make zip file with all libgarminos versions and post here if is possible can You zip allready moded libgarminos files for external micro sd card and battery satelite mod.

yes agree that we can't download from the website since it is in chinese. can't even understand how to register. perhaps anybody who has access can just download every libs and post it here for everyone. thanks

Garmin is running ok on my rooted S2, I have been waiting a long time for streetpilot for android but there is a problem with huge battery drain and I cant find which task is eating the power. I left my phone with 65% when I went sleep and in the morning the phone was dead. I did only two installs yesterday ... Root browser and streetpilot so one of them must do that, any idea how to find out what is wrong?

Well system tuner shows it is using 300 Mhz all the time, when i kill all the tasks, it is still using the power so it must be internal or hidden process I cant see. I will do more tests but since my first post I lost 25% of battery, I hope I dont need factory reset of the phone

Castielo I'm having a battery drain issue also I'm pretty sure it is draining faster than normal because my phone last all day with my regular usage. Something about streetpilot is draining the battery, I'm suspecting it is a process also because of the fact streetpilot wasn't meant for other phones it could be anything from optimization to something that is constantly on even when exiting Streetpilot.

I will do what Catymag said about turning off the GPS after exiting streetpilot to see if that makes a difference.

I have copy Cyclops unlocked to POI folder but they do not show.
Do they work for anybody?

Use SP in your car with something like this and your USB cable

catymag I disable the GPS at 67% battery without any phone use the battery is at 65% now after 4 hours. Thanks
