My customized plist file settings (settings taken from those already provided by others, so I cannot take credit for finding these settings--all I did was incorporate them into my plist files and fix them up somewhat to correct plist syntax errors):

settings_default.plist--this includes resetting the GPS Log option to default, and also contains the Enable 3D Building View setting that is required in Garmin 2.2 (and above?) or else you'll get the nastygram about not being able to view 3D buildings even though you have a valid gmap3d.img file installed:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

settings_general.plist--contains toggle for GPS Simulator and GPS Log Record options:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

settings_navigation_no_multimodal.plist--I discovered that for whatever reason the Garmin iPhone app Navigation menu settings are actually controlled by this file; it contains settings for Optimize Route For, separate settings for Pedestrian Mode, and Transit Type:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

TargetConfig.plist--contains settings to enable/disable where Lane Assist arrows are displayed, full-screen display of Junction View images in landscape mode, and toggle to select maps if more than one map is installed:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Note--the plist code for the menu settings for GPS Simulator, GPS Log Record, and Reset MyLocations/Trips Database can actually be found in the settings_debug_no_gcs.plist file; I'm not sure how this file is supposed to be accessed by the Garmin app but as others have discovered, simply pulling these settings from the no_gcs plist file and sticking them into the settings_general.plist file causes these settings to actually appear in the Settings -> General menu.

Note #2--I could never get the Hide Coordinate setting (found in settings_general.plist) to display in Settings -> General; any idea on how to get this to work?

Note #3--there may be other settings not shown in my plist files that I chose to either not include (because I have no practical need for them) or that I'm simply not (yet) aware of; all I can say is that these plist files work correctly with my Garmin 2.2 for iPhone app, other than the issue with the Hide Coordinate setting...so I make no promises or guarantees that any of my plist files will work with your Garmin iPhone app.
