Does anyone has any idea how to install "Garmin Indonesia" as I tried to install and getting "authentication failure" no matter I tried to modify the host file still giving me an error notification, unlike in Garmin USA, once you have modified the host file, unlock the map or supplied with unlocked map and do mod on the access permission, it will simply run. What's the deal with Garmin Indonesia?
And could anyone has a link for newest garmin USA version with no maps perhaps that can be added with any other countries' map? Thanks in advance....Last edited by elite001; 28th September 2012 at 07:35 PM.

I think you might have made the same mistake that I did. Do not zip up the USA-v2.1.07-FAULTYCLONES folder, go inside that folder and zip up all of its contents into a new zip file called garminus21.zip or something like that and then rename the extension to ipa. Btw, there's no need to add the maps beforehand, it can be done after installation too.

Here are a few modified plist files for Garmin USA that enable additional features. To use, copy them over to the garmin-nav.app folder.

The modified settings_navigation.plist enables the Route Simulator option in navigation settings.
The modified TargetConfig.plist enables map switch (allowing individual maps to be turned on and off), current street name display at the bottom and current lane guidance.
After copying the files check the permissions and ownership settings and correct them if necessary.
Edit: Had made a mistake in the current lane guidance entry. Have re-uploaded the corrected files. Those who wish to modify their plist, you can use ifile or a plist editor on PC/Mac to change the entry in TargetConfig.plist of current_lane_guidance_display to current_lane_guidance_enable.Last edited by manojmat; 9th October 2012 at 05:33 PM. Hey Manojmat, tried to install the files but could not edit the garmin-nav.app with iFiles or iFunbox. I'm running ios 6. Could youdo it with ios 6? Thanks! madmax77.

About to get IPhone 5, read somewhere we are not able to change the maps in app under ios6.
Anyone using ios6 and sucessfully modified the iphone files to use StreetPilot on board?
