hi, if you have jailbroken iPhone, you should install Firewall iP (on cydia) and when the app tries to request access from the net just block it, or if you have not jailbreak, just disable 3g data, and works, sadly when using the app, you will have not net acess, unless you try to unlock with a .unl file via jetmouse keygen, puttin your unit id showed on settings -- general -- about--....
newest version is USA-v2.1.07-FAULTYCLONES I needed to lock net access with cydia firewall ip (does come with usa map, and it is locked) so, remove the maps with ifunbox locating the folder, and if the map is locked try to unlock it with gimgunlock, its fast and easier than ever....

hi, it doesn't work for me. followed the instructions but when I tried installing via itunes and installous, it says invalid .ipa file

I think you might have made the same mistake that I did. Do not zip up the USA-v2.1.07-FAULTYCLONES folder, go inside that folder and zip up all of its contents into a new zip file called garminus21.zip or something like that and then rename the extension to ipa. Btw, there's no need to add the maps beforehand, it can be done after installation too.

Here are a few modified plist files for Garmin USA that enable additional features. To use, copy them over to the garmin-nav.app folder.

The modified settings_navigation.plist enables the Route Simulator option in navigation settings.
The modified TargetConfig.plist enables map switch (allowing individual maps to be turned on and off), current street name display at the bottom and current lane guidance.
After copying the files check the permissions and ownership settings and correct them if necessary.
Edit: Had made a mistake in the current lane guidance entry. Have re-uploaded the corrected files. Those who wish to modify their plist, you can use ifile or a plist editor on PC/Mac to change the entry in TargetConfig.plist of current_lane_guidance_display to current_lane_guidance_enable.

is it possible to send waypoints or routes from MapSource to the iPhone?

For routes: I do not think the Streetpilot handles paths as on some nuvi
For Waypoints: it may be that the MapSource to recognize the SD (iPhone JB). and GPX folder In that case ... maybe ;)
Otherwise, create the GPX file to your PC (with MS) and then move on iPhone

Hey Manojmat, tried to install the files but could not edit the garmin-nav.app with iFiles or iFunbox. I'm running ios 6. Could youdo it with ios 6? Thanks! madmax77.
