Thread: How to install any Garmin map on Iphone Garmin StreetPilot

i am having the same issue with garmin app requesting activation of maps. Any ideas? I did all that was written here but still system requires activation of maps.

I am in the same position. I have a jailbroken iPhone 4s, downloaded GARMIN USA from Installous, tried the Firewall IPA method but didn't work, tried changing the hosts file and the permissions but didn't work. I have tried it in both airplane mode and with wi-fi, I have tried un-installing it and re-installing it and that doesn't work, I can't get past the Garmin screen with the notification "Activation of maps require internet connection. Please ensure..."

To be clear I have not done anything with the maps, since the file I downloaded off Installous was over a GB I'm pretty sure they are already installed. Please help, I am lost.
