Yes that was the reason. I copied the latest version of gmaptz.img in the .System folder and restarted the app and it corrected the time issue. Its working great now.
Although I had to delete the gmaptz.img afterward because it was not letting the actual map file (gmapprom.img) to render (possibly due to same .img extension). Anyhow, even after deleting gmaptz file time is all fixed now and I'm a happy camper.gif ":)))")
