@Americanlifes... the last line of host file should be like this:
127.0.0.1 gold.garmin.com

Now, all the files you copy to your phone, .img and .plst, after you copy and replace them, you need to open those files in IFILE go to var/mobile/applications, find the garmin app and set the permissions for those files: Owner: mobile, Group: mobile , user: read, write, execute, group: read, execute, world: read execute

Follow Tonytone instructions on page 44, and set the permissions and that should work.

I delete the app, re install

Put the new plist

And the permission are like thar

Mobile, mobile

Read, write
read
read

and the host

127.0.0.1 (www).garmin.com
127.0.0.1 gold.garmin.com
#127.0.0.1 downloadg.garmin.com
#127.0.0.1 triplew.garmin.com

Now all are working, but the Pedestrian mode, give me an Error. It is impossible to calculte a route for pedestrian. can anybody help me

The Routing options are Car and pedestrian only.
Lets say I wanna travel by train, How can I use the Transit Type, Train Mode?

Great work tonytone ... I have everything working thanks to your tutorials.

One question - I've used the Garmin USA2.2 ipa and would like to change the default Speed Signs from US block rectangle to Euro/Australia red circles.
I've tried changing the .png files but it still comes up with Speed 60 ... I've read that Nuvi owners have to do a hard reset and enter "locale", but of course , that won't work on an iphone!
Is there a .plist file I need to edit?
