copy gmapsupp.img to the garmin directory of your sd card--its unlocked
if your gps supports it--- the other files are included.

uploadline is temporary down
and the mirrors for mapsource have a different file size compared to those found in uploadline

Hi catymag,
I must be dumb, I get it on to my garmin oregon 550, but it says that the maps are locked.
In Mapsource on pc, they aren't locked.
Obviously missing a step here or doing it wrong.
Can you email instructions, I have been trying to do this for about 5 weeks now, frustrated here

hei....guys....i'm caleb....i would like to know that....all the files....i mean gmap3d.img, gmaptz.img,gmapsupp.img and CNAUSNZ.JCV......all these files should put in which folder in garmin mobile xt? Can we put all maps in one folder....?

ya....thanks....but i wanna ask if i want to use the garmin mobile xt on nokia....is it the same? can i use all the 3d maps?

For a newbie where do i learn how this works, how to install and get it to work and such, can someone direct me. Currently in USA travelling to Aust. for 3 weeks ,wanted to put this in my garmin c550. But dont want to lose us maps . Any help would be welcomed.

Hi. Maybe a dumb question but can I use this on a laptop without a Garmin device? What else do I need to install in addition to the files at the beginning of the thread?
