i have version 3.80 already installed in my Garmin Nuvi 255w. I tried adding this version into the device (in Garmin directory) but I cannot seem to update to ver 3.82. FYI, I have added both the gmapsupp.img and gmapsupp.unl files.
Please advise how do I update to version 3.82?

make sure you delete old 3.80 map, please identified which file is 3.80 map, maybe gmapprom, gmappoem, gmapsup2...
