LG Incite w/WinMo6.1

I must be a complete idiot as I can't get the task of downloading the detail maps accomplished...after 3 days and two PC's worth of trying.

I'm at the MapInstall Wizard and click "next"
"The following map products are currently locked:
City Navigator North America NT 2009"

When I click on "Unlock Maps.." an Unlock Regions window opens...

I click "Add"

I enter my 25 digit GMAPSUPP code (I even tried both the SW code and my unit ID #) for the next window for Add Unlock Region

click "OK"

This throws me back to the Unlock Regions window with choices to "Backup..." "Restore..." "Add..." or "Close" so I close

Click "Next" on the MapInstall window and it responds with "Please unlock your maps before proceeding."

I've added, I've deleted, I've check properties (Region: Map product not installed), added Comment, deleted Comment

I've searched, I've read, I've reread and I'm apparently just too dense to get it. :met:

I have the base maps but, gee, I'd like to be able to enter addresses and see where I'm supposed to go rather than watch my little car cruise down a field next to a highway.

Please, please, please help a ignorant "old" woman figure out what silly little step I'm clearly overlooking. Please?:o
