i get an error message when i try to copy gsmapsupp.img to the microSD card. it stops at 88%, saying the card is write protected. i was able to copy files to it before. what am i doing wrong???

have you other files in your mmc?
if yes backup them, format it and retry

I have CN Russia NT 2010.10.img on my Garmin Nuvi 250W and it works fine

I help organising trip with oldtimer car in Moskow and i search card probably for my PC laptop with MapSource 6.15.6 and CN Europe 2010.10 installed. We hawe problem only with milions of streets in Moskow.

apparently with few maps of Russia available, CN 2010.1 is best for Moscow & St'Petersburg. But for anywhere else esp. navigating between cities much heavier Roads of Russia is better. Now there's version 5.15

With CN Europe goes from me(Slovenia) to Mocsow MKAD super.
We working now on stops for fuel (cca 200km) and sleeping (cca 500km).
I have information, we must go down from MKAD on 14km, and boys must have card on paper from MKAD to destination (oldtimer museum).
