Post here please your help request regarding Garmin

Hi,
A lot of peoples said malfree map more detail than malsing map.But unfortunately malfree map not fully cover at EAST MALAYSIA.
So possible can i install malsing map in my gramin gps device and malfree map in my meory card ? When i need to use,i can switch to each other.Is it possible ?

@tanas you can use gmap tool to combine different .img maps for your SD card.

Download it from here. Use the command line version. Read the instructions a couple of times. At first it seems a bit complicated but once you understand the procedure it works fast and efficiently. Good Luck.

Please help
I have map sorce and the map sorce 2009 map installed on my Pc, and all is working great ( thanks again ) I have a Nokia 6220 classic which i am able to transfure map sets to and from my phone to Pc and back again, in Mobile xt
My problem is,if i make up a route up on my pc and go and transfure the route to my phone, the route does not apear in the route folder on my phone. If i then open a new file in map sorce and recive maps and routes from my phone to map sorce, the maps apear and so does the route.
if i make up a route up on my phone and recive the route from my phone into map sorce it will not show up in mapsorce.

can any one please help

hi folks, Is it possible to use garmin .img files on a pc?

I must be dumb, because I've got no idea how too go about it, and everything seems to be only phone related. I've got garmin mobile PC running on my laptop and have downloaded what I thought was the relevant files but dunno what to do next, they are a .img file.

Halp!

edit: I am dumb. I should learn to search betterer. all i had to do was drop the file in the garmin directory!
