Hi everybody, hopefully im posting in the right place....

I have a nuvi 205w, i have downloaded an unlocked gmapsupp.img of garmin Europe city nav NT 2010.30 , i have put my SD card into a card reader and plugged it into my PC and then created a folder named "garmin", i have placed the unlocked gmapsupp.img into this folder on the SD card.

When i plug the SD card into the nuvi 205w the maps do not show up under the maps section.........

any ideas as to why they are not showing at all ??? any help would be greatly appreciated

in 205 files must be renamed gmapprom.img in the root internal memory or gmapsupp.img in sd card and placed in a Garmin folder

usually files to download are compressed and splitted in more than 1 part to upload them-
To execute the file you should use winrar to decompress it- Click on part one and winrar will decompress them all-

If the file is an img unlocked copy it directly in your device renaming it in a correct way

You cant have two routable maps covering the same area- Deselect or remove one

Looking for POI with speed alerts.
HI, I am new to this forum. I have downloaded the world speedcams from this site however it only gives you a "speed alert" . My previous version told you how many km's per hour was the limit. Is there a way to get this?
Also is there a latest europe map available. I have searched the threads and it seems there are different options and some which I don't quite understand. I'm not as IT savy as I thought. Thanks

Hi
I bought a nuvi1240 with western Europe map on it. If I download Eurpope NT 2011 which contains central and eastern europe, would I have to delete my original map first?

If you have an SD card, It shouldn´t be necessary. Simple paste the unlocked .img file onto a folder named Garmin on the card root and it will show on the maps configuration (worked for me).

Hi folks,

Trying to use cityXplorer maps on my nüvi 3750, but until now couldn't find a way to unlock the files (FID>2000) that make the EPM working.

As I could see in many different threads on cityXplorer maps the same question, thought would be better to have it in only 1 thread.

Comments Moderators?

The problem is with 3XXX series, no way to unlock EPM in these devices, working fine in Nuvi 1200 eg.
I tested it personally on a friend device -( see Roma thread)
