(That's my experience).
When you have an example of another Topo Pro gmap, then it is not so difficult.
the only difficulty in the info2.xml is 'guessing' the InstallationID. For many Pro maps I could find a working value but for Topo France v4 Pro I couldn't find one. Basecamp won't show the Named Trails option in the search menu.

The InstallationID, DataVersion and Dataformat is the same as in the info.xml, isn't it ? (Mapconverter makes a info.xml)

Correct, but if you create a gmap version from an img there is no InstallationID in the info.xml file so you'll have to find one by trial and error. A DVD version of a map comes with an installationID.

Raspi took the InstallationID from Topo France v3 which seems to work. The problem with v4 however is that you can search for Named Trails in Basecamp (and on a GPS) but if you select one you only get the start- and end point of the Trail, no dark-blue highlighted trail in Basecamp and on your GPS you'll see a straight line between start- and end-point. Only Garmin can correct this huge mistake.
