Thanks for this one. I am familiar with the FAQ you have given me a link to.
Initially I only wanted the unlocked image map of East Africa only. I could get the 3D, G2S an POI files but it took long to get them. The Image map was much bigger.

Eventually I got a working premium account on the internet and was able to download the image file I wanted. And I must say it was worth it because there is a great great great improvement for Kenya which is my country. Actually the detailed map coverage is finally here!

As regards the gmap folder you are asking, I was downloading the one in post #5 but the part 2 file of the unlocked version of the East & West Africa GMAP Folder is failing. Part 5 was also failing at 99% of the download on IDM but I managed to get it eventually directly on Firefox but part 2 failed,,. Now I am waiting for the Part 2 to finish again to see if it will go beyond 99%.

EDIT: Part 2 has failed again... I will try tomorrow. Maybe as you propose, I will try the entire gmap folder directly...

EDIT2: the gmap folder on openload.io is downloading real fast! Thanks so much. I will have it all in no time!
