Evidently GMapTool stumbles over SID subfile. Itried to join using original SID - same error.

Gmaptool doesn't recognize these new type of files, so check in "Join" Include other data it will add them.

I did that. This time it worked. Thanx. I also checked Add new unlock code with a value of 25 zeros to create the U record and also checked Set mapset FID with the original values FID=3755, PID=1 to create the F record. Then I compared the two maps (original and revised). Composition of the revised map is different. While the original map has all 7 non-NT files at the bottom of the GMapTool list, the revised map has only MPS file at the bottom, other 6 non-NT files are at the top. Also, NT files of the revised map come in a different order and seem to have lost the names of areas they refer to.
