1. In case of nuvi 3790 does this mean that it necessary to search a latest version of old x...x.db file for each map?

2. Does this mean that this feature does not work on nuvi 3790 with these maps? Does it necessary to delete something from SQLite folder ?

Victor, the real expert is your garmindevice.xml in Garmin folder.
Look at it, it contains all the info about files needed and supported by your nuvi.

Updates load files with the same name +10. Example D4936030A.sid --> D4936040A.sid
D317400.db = EU traffic trends for 37xx hasn't been updated since a long time, you can keep the old one.
