My Nuvi 3490 doesn't see Foursquare img in .System/Map directory. Map folder is not supposed to be there, it's a folder in the root directory. But it does see Foursquare img on the microSD in the x/Map directory. Whether it's doing any good sitting there I'm not sure.

If doctor Garmin prescribes the Map directory as Root Directory/Map so for internal device memory why you do you engage in self?

I'm not exactly sure what that means, all I was trying to say, in reference to posts #8 and 12, is that my Nuvi recognizes Foursquare.img as a map on microSD and shows it under My Maps. However, I'm not sure how to prove whether I'm getting Foursquare POIs or not. Originally Posted by Giomen

principecarlo, on our devices FS POI doesn't have special icon in POI-list.
Try to set your current position to "Domodedovo airport" and in search menu press category "Transport".
If FS map doesn't work you will se only few POIs, like airport itself, railway station etc. If FS map work - you will see many-many useless POIs, like i show in upper post (розетка у экалатора).

Did that. Nothing like the "Rosetta" screen. So, FS does not work with 3490 (and it wasn't supposed to, to begin with, it was just a try) and we'll leave it at that.
