Might be ok, but maybe not. Please follow catymag's advise which is to use MapInstall, not MapSource. This is correct regardless of the age of the unit. MS doesn't handle the large modern NT gmap folders perfectly and it can make errors in the compiled map .img which won't be made by MI. MS has been discontinued some years and is no longer supported by Garmin so it's best to just not take the risk using it for making map images.Originally Posted by interaser
