Just BEAUTIFUL!
The last site I used to get all my map updates from has been "FROZEN"!! Yikes.
Searched and found GPS Power, downloaded the above GMAPSUPP UK and Ireland files, installed straight onto my somewhat old NUVI310 and whay hay, I have found an even better site to call Sat Nav home....... HERE! My plan now is to take the time getting to know both this site AND the inner workings, file types, firmware, etc, etc of the humble SatNav. From what I have seen so far, I could not have found a better, more helpful place with members who REALLY know what`s what.
Hope this isn`t considered a Thank You Post, just wanted to report that my Nuvi 310 accepted the file with no probs what-so-ever!

This Unicode version will not give full search functions in any pre-2011 nuvi, sorry. In other respects it will work though. The correct map for your 310 is the non-unicode NT which is will not be updated any more than twice a year now. Current map is 2014.40: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I have no idea what has happened between 1 year ago when I tried the same and now why it DOES work; maybe it's due to a firmware upgrade recently.

You are lucky man! No problem with map in total! The most data do not have entry in several language. But users report about many mistakes in particular like failure to search! If navigation is not critical for you there are no problem with this map, but for my clients and me the failure in navigation is waste of money and time... Originally Posted by VW2
