That's actually a reasonable proposition Doc, seeing there's a Garmin unit shown connected [but there's no card showing it seems]. But closer examination of his screenshot:

Hi Neil, status is of all maps is unlocked. (in Mapsource and BaseCamp).

Possibly the gmap folder is corrupt [it shouldn't crash MapSource like that]. Try running [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in the gmap folder. If you still have the same problems and are using the patched versions of MS/BC/MI then i suggest downloading again, preferably from a different source and preferably a locked version that you can unlock yourself with unlock mapset.exe from that link.
PS: Unlocked status means that the map is unlocked for use in the software only. For it to be 'fully unlocked' its status should be 'Not lockable'. Best to use only MI for transferring modern NT maps to a unit, MS can't deal with them properly to create the image.'Thanking Posts' are banned. What's next please in laymans language?
Hi I d/l this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] from post #5 there. I have extracted the 14 CNE NT 2014.40 pc. parts to a folder on my desktop, what's the next step? I have searched, but, I can't seem to get my head around it, (limited nous?).
Please assist.
