Hi I have a Nuvi 1350 and tried to install 1330_Type1816057 - 363.65 MB.
Message was "Can't find the unlock record".

How do I resolve this ? Download the image and unlock it ?
( Then where does the unlocked image for this come in ?)

Pick the gmapprom.img, unlock it with
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
rename it to anyname.img and copy in sd/Map.

Hi All,

Presented below is a patched CN SG/MY 2013.30 JCV file that should work without the need of SG/MY firmware. I have tested it in simulation mode. But I need people living in Singapore or Malaysia to do some road tests to verify the pictures displayed really match the roads and signs at the actual junctions. Thank you for your feedback in advance.

2 things:
1. I assume the patched file is not necessary for Asian units (except Garmin changed something, but worked for me previously in my TW unit)
2. I only see part 2

No, it's there Tom. Just that part 2 was showing as a clickable link, whereas part 1 wasn't. Like this:

I've fixed it now so both parts are clickable.

As to the encryption, i'm unsure but i thought Garmin changed it a while back so that you now need the specific fw to read the jcv file [ie, sg/my will no longer read ph etc].
