Forget about using *.unl files with modern units and also with older units loaded with recent firmware. The Garmin [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] protection is not overcome by unlock codes with maps having FID of 2200 and greater [this one has FID 3119] but it is defeated by unlockers such as [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] & [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. If you have an unlocked image you don't need any of those anyway.
How you have named the file and where you have placed it may be the problem. The nuvi 200 can see the file as gmapprom.img, gmapprom1.img or gmapsupp.img in the Garmin folder. Or named gmapsupp.img in the Garmin folder of an SD card [also gmapsup1.img will work in there with recent US/EU fw, but not with Asian units]. The Kenwood probably needs the map named as said [gmapsupp.img in Garmin folder] on an SD or a usb stick to load it [but i know little about them, so maybe search for that info]. Plenty of good tuts and tips here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
