i've downloaded the huge files in 1st post, and installed it..
somebody please teach me how to use 'Protected Garmin File Toolkit v.2.2.5.4' to unlocked it...

You can unlock the gmap folder with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. However, if you want to generate a locked image then unlock it with PGFT: A picture is worth a thousand words'. If you need more help with either unlock mapset.exe or PGFT, please post in those threads.

Thanx, it works to unlocked the maps in my computer..
But, when i transferred it to my unit, the road was not routable..
it said 'Route calculation error : maps do not have routable roads in this area..'

You need to set your location on a road anywhere in NA while in GPS simulation mode.

D3191100A.JCV big split screen for 3xxx&2xxx jcv

Data JCV: length 481736844, name D3191100A.JCV
date 26.07.2013 00:30:58
006-D3191-10
picture size 212*234

also work in the new Nuvi 44? The resolution of the picture size is the same for these models. Only the file size is different.

You can try it but I don't believe it will work in the 44 (let us know if it does).

My understanding is that the xx series type jvc is encrypted differently to the other units' jcv and therefore [regardless of resolution] transposing the types will not work. The same as what is experienced with Asian jcv files which are not only different to any US/EU/AU etc type files, but are even encrypted differently to each other.

I point out a problem of the map CN North America NT2014.20 in MapInstall out error message, instead with CN Europe NT 2014 .20 it does not, see if the problem and in some folder, or in gmap. 2urrqd3
