You posted previous message on 15 June when the official map hadn't been released yet. When listing updated files on your device you also stated
"D317400.SQlite (same files as old map)"
So, now you have a new trafic trends file D317400.db from the official release & your problem has been solved, so your original problem was not due to the MapSource image.

you sound like your taking the problem I had personally ?
So I put the old D317400.SQlite back on my nuvi and the traffic trends Europe 4.25 still shows under map details.
so its not the fact I used a 'new' d317400 file because the 'old' one also works.
it must be the way the map is sourced, from mapsource or other place ?
This is perhaps the problem. There is ample evidence that using MS rather than MI with recently released gmap folders can result in slight differences in the generated map image file and ultimately that might transcribe to performance deficiencies or issues. The .img might be OK, but it might not. The answer is simple [although maybe unpalatable to some of us still clinging to MS] and that is to do what Garmin says and not use MS because it's no longer supported and modern gmap folders are better handled by MI. Well-intentioned members maybe are still uploading images from MapSource. Download a gmap folder if possible and compile your own image using BaseCamp/MapInstall for all recent and future CNs and you should have no problems. Uploaders rarely post the source of image files [directly from LM device, separately purchased map, if compiled how it was done, etc].
Any further discussion on this should continue elsewhere if needed, but it's really unnecessary imo.

Hi,
one question: i downloaded from the 1st post, copied everything to the folder mentioned, started mapsource and it said that the map is locked. then i used the tool provided to unlock, and afterwards the map worked fine in mapsource. then i transfered the map to my unit (nuvi 1390) via mapsource, but the nuvi said, the map is "locked". so i generated a key using the jetmouse keygen, put the .unl files in place (like i did a 100 times, and it always worked). now the nuvi says, the map is "not authenticated". has someone a hint for me how to get it working on the nuvi? many thanks in advance !!
Nuvi 1390 dont have map unicode - original. You search in forum this map to your nuvi : Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2014.10. Make a folder MAP to your nuvi and put in gmapsupp.img or rename to EU.img. You have a .gma file in your nuvi ? just delete this file

Surely this sounds as if it is a .gma file...but should have been remedied with the appropriate medicine. I am having no problems using Fast IMG Unlocker, and use nothing else, not jetmouse blah blah blah, and have a new Garmin device supporting the use of .gma technology. Like your name BTW.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Hi,
i had also europe 2013xx NT unicode, which wasnt any problem so far. i first try to delete the .gma now.
we ll find out ...
Hi, just to inform you about the result:
It didnt have anything to do with the gma-file, I simply used the same tool (that I also used for unlocking in Mapsource, provided in the first post) for unlocking the .gpi files separately, and now everything works perfectly!
By the way, the Unicode Version runs fine on my nuvi 1390, no problems so far.
Anyway, thanks for the help!
