Nuvi 50 uses NTU version of map and JCV for 30/40/50 is posted in CNE NTU thread. JCV for nuvi 50 doesnt exist for NT version. Originally Posted by superbarry

Hi all,
that's not the point ,for me ....
If you unlock a mapset and you can "cut-out" a part of the map , this means that the mapset is correctly unlocked (on mapsource in PC of course)
but.... if the mapset is unl , why the cut-out (o cropped if you prefer) map saved on your Nav is currently locked?
If I understood well , all the mapset you crop in mapsource should be "unl" when you upload them into ur navi ?
Just to learn something more .... I don't wanna bore anyone with that question......

Why don't rename ?
In a other forum I read a post that the TimeZoneMap with the name D1074000.img is showing up on a Montana as a map like City Navigator and so on (in the list of maps that could be on or off). That's not the meaning of a time zone Map I guess.

Maybe when You use GArmin Express you get a updated timezonemap on your gps with the name D1074......
When you use webupdater you get the map with the name gmaptz.img
