Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
hmm - mine has same size: 296.700.567 Bytes
and MD5: D032BAEE32DF464FF065AEDA5F45DD74
...
I will check if the 1390 shows JCV if I remove the unlock files
Tests now done -->
removal of .gma and .unl has no effect (no error message, jv's are shown) on this device
A closer look revealed that D3084090A.gma is 100% identical to gmapprom.gma
and D3084090A.unl consists of 25 characters which are identical to the last 25 characters in gmapprom.unl

Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
Maybe Garmin is planning to Gma Lock JCV in the Future and are starting to get ready for such an event.
Of course device firmware updates would have to be implemented.
"This is just speculation of Course" but I cannot see any other reason for these files.
This behaviour has also been reported on German Forum

Maybe they will lock ALG function with gma, becouse now is available only in some country.
I think that only Express have this error, becouse if you download with mapupdate you don't have this file.
Express is still in beta versionGarmin still can't repair it to work with no error

Nothing crazy like that when I used MapUpdater to update a US purchased 3597LMTHD to 2013.40 map & D3191080A.JCV [it came with 2013.30 & D3191070A].
PS: When NA 2014.10 finally becomes officially available, I'll use GE [shudder] to update the 3597 and see what it does. I agree with popotnik, GE is still beta and it's unwitting users are Garmin's lab rats.
