I can't route this map on a Montana. I get "This route does not match the available maps!"

Any ideas how I can fix this?

That is a fairly common problem/message when you have a route saved that was created from an earlier version of the map.

I don't have a Montana so I don't have the direct solution but basically you have to get it to somehow recalculate using the new map or manually re-create the route with the new map and save it again.

Maybe this will trigger an idea for you....
This happens all the time when updating maps on a Nuvi 7xx when routes have been previously saved. The Nuvi solution is quite simple. I simply delete all my saved routes and re-import them. The Nuvi automatically goes and find them in the appropriate GPX file where they were initially saved and re-imports them one at a time. During the import, it recalculates and re-saves them to current.gpx using the currently selected map. After that, they all work.

Yes, you were right - after your post I did further testing and the problem was only with locations under "Recent Finds". I simply deleted the whole list. I can route to other waypoints and addresses so everything seems to be OK.

    Thanks for the tip.

    Hi agtr,
I think that you can "obtain" a map as you like (eg. regional or central europe or single nation ) simply downloading the torrent files reported in post #22
After downloaded the mapsource version unlocked , simply you can cut-out partially every part you need .
Just a little tip for doing that , after the cut-out of the map just unlock the map with appropriate tool (eg. FastImageUnlocker)
    That's all guy .
You will be able to "personalize" your map as you prefer.
    Have a nice day

Today I downloaded the original map for my 1390LMT (a bit late since 2014.10 is overdue)
but I am confused a bit:
In the JCV folder I find now 2 unlock files added
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Any idea what's behind? I thought jcv files were only linked to the corresponding map file...
