Flashing with hybrid fw (US boot.bin and TH fw_all.bin) will result in 'System Software Missing' message and unable to boot. You could try flashing the full TH fw but that may brick your US device. Even if you are successful in cross-flashing, there are usually downsides [you'll probably lose ASR for instance and maybe other things won't work as they should]. US files - voices, text etc would need to be replaced with TH versions.
My personal opinion is that generally the best fw for a unit is it's original and it's not worth risking all to gain one feature such as JCV, but mileage does vary.
