Thai Vision can you dual map

Hi guys,
i own a nüvi 2495LM.
I try both of the maps dual and single from this Thread.
But i am not able to set a Route.
It dont find any City if i search for one.
Software of the nüvi is from Germany. Maybe this makes the different?
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any help.
I need the thai version thank
thank for share thai version but which jcv file can use with thai version?
Hi tester_76
have a look in post #1
If you own a thai firmware you can choose the proper jcv file . And of course if your device is compatible with Junction Views .
Scrolling the thread you'll find which differences between each file.....one for bangkok zone (if I understood well) , one for a zone I don't remember...it's just a kind of "training" that you can do with your device......and learn a little step more.
Try a trip in demo mode. So you can confirm to all Thai users wich is useful for their zone.
Bye,Umbe
thank you that is my mistake
i think dual map has own jcv
Thai map has own jcv
and jcv file cant use for not own map XD
Can a US Nuvi 2495LMT be flashed with Thai firmware to enable the JCV ?
thank you
@soidog2
Flashing with hybrid fw (US boot.bin and TH fw_all.bin) will result in 'System Software Missing' message and unable to boot. You could try flashing the full TH fw but that may brick your US device. Even if you are successful in cross-flashing, there are usually downsides [you'll probably lose ASR for instance and maybe other things won't work as they should]. US files - voices, text etc would need to be replaced with TH versions.
My personal opinion is that generally the best fw for a unit is it's original and it's not worth risking all to gain one feature such as JCV, but mileage does vary.![]()
