Brief web search indicates JCV may work only on an Asian Garmin Unit. Mine is a 3490LMT from Europe. Apparently, there is no unlock for JCV available.

Map and routing works fine. Only no JCV.
Asian unit can not use Thai jcv. You must use Thai firmware.
