Well, I did a careful reading of that "Neysy" wrote up to try to better understand what "he" meant. It seems to me was this: as the City Navigators are distributed "free" in this and other forums, and have most often unknown or undetermined origin, does not have the same level of reliability of a legitimizes source (directy store, garmin site..), first point. Also, and especially, due to the various problems reported with CNBR, as search by address, our friend "Neysy" put the MAP, NOT PEOPLE, on suspicion, the key question.
Another element that contributed to the questioning of the origin of the map was the such third person, an acquaintance of the "Neysy" which had this same problem when extracting the CNBR from CNSA with the Gmaptool. For all these elements, he hypothesized that, PROBABLY, the map that everyone was downloading would have had that same kind of origin. It is good to note that nothing was stated categorically, but only while POSSIBILITY. I did not see anywhere in the text, nor subtended, that statement that this was a new and unknown issue of the experts or general users. It seemed a mere report of recent experience that coincided with the problems mentioned by forum users, allowing raise the hypothesis.
As I understand it, the quote from the post of Catymag only served to officiate the problems mentioned by others, because she is undoubtedly a source totally reliable. Even I (who would say, lol ..) know this and some of the limitations of Gmaptool, just did not know exactly why (but now I know). In short, the hepless "Neysy" certainly had not the slightest intention of putting in check so elementary knowledge of experts because "this is known and repeated in this forum a million of times." He just cogitated (without having personally tested) that the map with problems COULD not be the original and MAYBE have had a common origin in the tool Gmaptool, citing an example of recent experience.
Finally, with all respect to "Neysy", it seems he is well limited to express itself in the universal language, so I suggest to have patience with him, lol... I cheer also that the maxim "angry administrator, user banned" not apply to this unhappy, lol.. My suggestion is that him send a bonbon box, or flowers, to the Light Side house...
