I had a problem with the degmoura's version. My nuvi 40LM always says that it can't acquire the unlock codes, but it's still show the map.
I tried to unlock it again, but the unlocker give the feedback that the map is already unlocked.

I’m having the same problem whit my 2555.
I try to unlock using the gimgunlock many times, and always end in the black screen.
I did the same thin in the 2013.30 and for fine.

Edit:All working in my 2555 using the map post by cyoteone #58 .

It is possible that you have other maps Locked in nav. Remove all the maps and testing

Unlock the mapset with gimgunlock r.03 ... and if you do several times not by any error

Retry...
