Garmap Sub-Saharan Africa Streetmaps 2012.3 - (NT & NON-NT)




Garmap Southern Africa Streetmaps has been superseded by Garmap Sub-Saharan Africa Streetmaps ("SSA Streetmaps") which covers an impressive 29 countries and incorporates all the data for South, East, West & Central Africa as well as Mauritius.
This release now includes coverage of Burundi and Rwanda, it features more than 1,3 million kilometres of routable coverage, a massive 3,3 million kilometres of non-routable coverage and over half a million Points of Interest (POIs).

NON-NT map variants

The NON-NT map variants are specifically for legacy, map-capable Garmin units produced before 2006.

Extract .EXE file with WinRAR, SSA_2012.3\SA Streetmaps\setup [COLOR=#0000ff]contains GMAP folder
copy it in:
(in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps) or
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps)
You'll have your map in Mapsource.

For Mac unzip dmg -> hfs -> pkg ->gz -> pax -> gmap directory

Garmap SSA does not support any of the enhanced features ! (3D, Speed Limit, LA, JV etc etc)

Garmap Southern Africa Topo & Rec 2012.3 - (NT & NON-NT)



This product is highly recommended for all map capable outdoor units as it successfully allows for the convergence of the serious outdoor enthusiast and the pavement pioneer. Detailed topographical and recreational information seamlessly overlays with the Southern Africa Streetmaps product providing a comprehensive Southern Africa map for recreational planning and orientation. Topographic information includes 20m contours, rivers and forests for the Southern African countries and farm boundary data for South Africa and Namibia.

Garmap South Africa Waterways V1.3

This product provides bathometric details of inland and offshore waters, covering the South African coastline as well as 37 dams. The data also contains the South African - National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) location and contact details.

Note: this maps is unchanged, I reposted it here but it's the same than the one posted in 2012.1 thread
