Strange! after I exported all maps from mapsoure, there is Niger country when using garmin mobile pc, but no Niger then using garmin mobile xt. If only export Niger, there is no problem. I'm not newbie, no low-level mistake. Can somebody try it again?

The NON-NT map variants are specifically for legacy, map-capable Garmin units produced before 2006.
Extract .EXE file with WinRAR, SSA_2012.3\SA Streetmaps\setup [COLOR=#0000ff]contains GMAP folder
copy it in:
(in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps) or
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps)
You'll have your map in Mapsource.

This product provides bathometric details of inland and offshore waters, covering the South African coastline as well as 37 dams. The data also contains the South African - National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) location and contact details.

Maybe mobile xt has some limitation on number of tiles.

Not the number of tiles issue, if only exported western africa, there is still no Niger on mobile xt. but it's OK on nuvi and mobile PC. Originally Posted by dasilvarsa
