Does Garmin GB Discoverer 50 K (whole country) include all those maps or are there more detailed ?

These maps are more detailed (25k) vs the 50k version. Great for hiking.

Well, what do you expect? Why not try and look at the maps and compare the views for the same area?
There's a lot more information in 1:25K map areas compared to 1:50K map areas. Double resolution in one dimension gives twice amount of data. Double resolution in two dimensions (lat & long) give 4 times more data. On top of that its higher granularity of TOPO data in the 3rd dimension with more height curves.

The following map links seem to have expired and they are not available in v3:

4 - South Highlands
16 - The National Forest
17 - The Cotswolds (not 30 - Cotswold Way!)
