@PeterPerth
I thought i'd try Strephon Alkhalikoi's method, purely in the interests of fairness (and 'coz i'm bored.... ok, really just 'coz i'm bored). I see that not only has he undated it since i looked at it last year (before he amended it ...'part 1'), but he has also done a 'part 2' to take account of using gimgunlock rather than FUI as in the original, and part 2 is essentially the same as the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] i gave you. I suspect he really meant to give you the link for part 2. BTW, my change of heart has nothing to do with the spectre of an axe wielding male version of Lizzie Borden hunting me down. I'm at least about 10,000 miles away from MA presently and anyway i doubt Stephron even lives in Fall River, Lizzie's stamping grounds, and he's even less likely to be a decendant.. maybe... brrrr. Anyway, i unlocked only the .tdb with unlock mapset.exe, and unsurprisingly the gmap folder shows in and is unlocked for use in both MS and BC. Sent a single tile to an sd (guess which one):
Yep. That one.... So in GMapTool it shows as locked:
The 'L' next to '30' under 'Prio' indicates it's status is locked. Like Caty said Fast Image Unlocker's an orphan now, and best to use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or i like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] too. But, as you were following the Part 1 instructions of the blog, i used FIU to unlock the image on the sd, and... :
Yep.. it's unlocked.
But this is what you originally asked:
Well, i have a thought on that. Both should throw up the 'Locked Maps Detected' screen if the .tdb file is still locked. But of course you used JM to unlock the gmap folder for your patched MS. But BC wouldn't have a bar of that and needed the .tdb unlocked to not display the 'Locked Maps Detected' screen, so i think you actually had the answer to your own question in that first post. Why you then continued to have a problem after you used S.A.'s method and the others is beyond me though:
So what was wrong with your gmap folder mate, anything? If you found out what happened, best post again and let us know so others can learn too.
