Don't use the Jetmouse keygen to unlock because of the included GMA authentication in Garmin maps. Use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to unlock both the maps on the PC as well as the resulting .img file.

Thanks for the Blog, I've done all what you've suggested, to make BC read the CNNA13 Map, (of course along with Mapsource together):

1-Install BaseCamp.
2-Install MapInstall.
3- Download the desired Garmin map set and install. If downloading the map set direct from Garmin, use the option 2 installer and under "Install Options" select "Install To Computer Only".
4- Download this Mapset Unlocker. Copy it into the map set's Product 1 directory (e.g C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\Maps\City Navigator North America 2012.10.gmap\Product1).
5- Drag the .TDB file located in the Product1 folder and drop on top of the Mapset Unlocker executable.
6- Run MapInstall and transfer the maps to the GPS. If using the patched MapInstall executable which allows transferring maps to any drive, transfer the maps to a hard drive instead.
7- Download Fast IMG Unlocker 2.1 and run it.
8- Select the .img file to be converted.
9- Let Fast IMG Unlocker do its work.
10- Transfer the maps to the GPS.

after 5# step was the description for GPS device only, which I had done already somehow.
Anyway, for me was important to make it read/seen by Mapsource AND Basecamp.
After your 5# step, at the last, my map (CNNA_13.20_MS) should be seen (read) unlocked at Mapsource and Basecamp, but, which was not.
After I replaced the Mapsource with the patched one (this step is NOT at your description list), the map was at last unlocked at Mapsource, but not at Basecamp, it was still locked!
Any ideas else, to make it work also at BC? I am pretty sure there is a way to unlock it also at BC...we shall see, shan't we?

P.S.: Your advice list may work by all other maps, but obviously this one, CNNA13 is a special one, poser, harter Nuss

Dont use FIU anymore,it's not updated and I dont grant it works fine with new maps, there is a note in red in FIU thread about it and I give advice to use Gimgunlock instead, better tool actually:faster and updated.

Basecamp reads properly locked maps ,like Homeport. CNNAM .img locked too.

If you run unlock mapset.exe in the gmap folder it will unlock the entire map for MS and BC ,and also the image sent to the unit (or a drive if using patched versions) will be fully unlocked (i.e. not show as unauthenticated either): [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

PS: Be nice to Stephon, afaik his method works ok and more importantly he's from Lizzie Borden country. Other methods also [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to unlock the tdb file only if you want to try them.

@Neil: That is your humble opinion, works maybe in DownUnder, but not here in the "Northern Hemisphere"...see below, working MS and still locked BC, screenshots taken on 17.09.2012 13.00 LMT, according "One Picture is Worth a Thousand Words":

Peter, there's no need to prove how you did the steps with Strephon Alkhalikoi's method, coz like I said AFAIK it works, and I was offering you ALTERNATIVE methods. Read the post again:

Neil, I read all the posts, and I tried all the methods, with no success, otherwise I wouldn't send these messages...However, I am trying now another thingy, not elegant but it may work...BTW, AFAIK is not good enough for me: Q1: Have you installed City Navigator North America 2013.20" ? and if so, Q2: What is your OS, windows 7 x64? Plz, note, I had never problems with the other CityNavigators by installing them, probs only with this one...!
