Thread: Garmap Africa Series 2012 - 2nd Edition

OK. Then what? How do I get it intsalled into Mapsource and unlocked. I think I have read over ten topics now which all seem to link to yet another piece of software to download, and the instructions always seem to assume you know exactly what you're doing! I want to unlock this file and install it into mapsource so I can combine it with another one and then install on Nuvi 310. So once I have a *.gmap" what do I do with it? I tried dragging "unlock mapset.exe" into the folder, ran it and it did whatever for a while and then it finished. Still I am left with a .gmap folder that may or may not be unlocked that I don't know what to do with.

There are so many tutorial links to so many tutorials - it all just gets completely confusing, not to mention all the apps downloaded! Surely there is one simple one to walk-through of these basic steps that (I assume) most people need to do to install a map such as this into mapsource from the point of having done "Extract .EXE file to get the GMAP folder"?
