If you live in Southern Africa you can buy the Data Only DVD from any Garmin Dealer for Twenty Rands. (license is sold separately)

It's called Garmap Africa Series 2012 2nd Edition. It's got Streetmaps NT and TOPO NT and lots of software such as Basecamp etc etc inside.
