    Hi,
I’ve got a problem with .db file.
It works well in Basecamp but not on my Montana.
For example, when hiking profile is selected in Basecamp, I can see red paths and trails on the map whereas with the same hiking profile selected on my Montana, red paths and trails are not displayed.
    What’s up ?

This is normal - you must at first select the path from the db to see it on the map.
You can's see trails on the GPS with changing the activity.

Checking under the 'Compatible Devices' tab of the link kindly included in Post #1:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
But even without that: Yes of course ('coz it's a Topo).

Topo Austria v3 is about 100MB smaller in volume because it's in NT format.
    POI don't use much data.

...have compared CNE 2013.1, Austria Topo, Austria Topo2 and Austria Topo3 and did not come to a conclusion which is "best". I did choose an area in Carinthia - Kärnten, Lake Weissensee, I know that area quite well. CNE shows most POIs but no DEM layers. Topo and Topo2 shows almost same POis but e.g. no churches and churches are quite helpfull for orientation as you can see the spire from quite some distance. Topo3 shows the churches but far less POIs. It may be that for other regions the results are different but for the shown area I would not know which map to use...

Do you really need the sql-file for this map? Do you put it together with the img-file on the gps?

    SQL/DB-file "Trail Database".
It displays special routes or information depending on the activity chosen by the user, differentiating between pedestrian activity cycling activity, etc : Active routing feature in new Garmin Topo maps PRO.
    More infos here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Copy "Trail Database file in sd in SQL folder-
Some example pictures here in post n6:
