    @mgyy,

Now you are getting a little ridiculous in your comments about OSM topo maps.

As I do not know what type of hiking or biking you do these OSM topo maps are of very good quality.
There are many versions out there of these topo maps from different companies including Garmin topo.
Only thing with Garmin topo maps you have to pay for them.

Plus you posted now 3 time asking for this very old map.
As you can see no one at this time is answering your request.

It is time to move on mate........

Like "Boki" said he Will be cleaned later.......

Default Topo Portugal Ciclonatur v5 (2013)

    Here you go
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

IT is a very nice map but not routeable.
I have it as a backup but honestly almost never use it

This is what you thing is great about this very old map.

OSM topo maps VS ciclonatur 2013

See screen shots below of 3 different websites that offer Topo maps of Portugal all free:

    Spoiler: OSM topo map 1

    zGP4Prt

    Spoiler: OSM topo map 2
    xm0BedC

    Spoiler: OSM topo map 3
    2TZlQZA

    Spoiler: ciclonatur 2013
    3NCsCFM

As you can see the ciclonatur 2013 is missing a lot of details VS OSM topo maps.

This was just one example of this maps ciclonatur 2013 that has "Finally..
    my prayers were heard"

I do not think you know much about TOPO maps.

If you are a good hiker or cyclist you should stick with very detailed maps that are up to date.

No matter what GPS unit your are using good accurate maps are very important in the fields.

I do a lots of hiking all over Europe and the last thing I need when out in the fields is a old out dated map.

Good luck using this ciclonatur 2013

Hello, Thanks for your comparison, unfortunately you are missing a detail. zoom level.
And also I think it is where this map shines, only more near zoom levels some details appear.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is comparison of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (another old one that was a reference for some year), ciclonatur v5, TopoActive 2025 and Topo Portugal Light V10

Out of the free ones frikart.no and bbextract are amongst of my favourite.
Since I mostly used the gps for bike, and as I said the ciclonatur are not routeable I just have them as a backup for the most remote areas of the country.
This map was done by the guys of the cycling company ciclonatur which did a lot of tours around the country, not sure if all was passed to OSM later on. But for sure there is also the risk of old POIs.
TopoActive 2025 is enough for me.

The 3 topo maps I used as examples are:

    Spoiler: examples
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (This one I give updates to)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

There are others but the one I use the most is "openfiets" a Dutch website that keep these maps up to date.

I have TopoActive 2025 but do not use it, reason I do not need all of Europe on my GPS units.

When I plan a trip it is for one country at a time.
Some Topo's come with a combo of countries like the one I use for Spain it has Portugal and South France with it.

But much smaller than having TopoActive 2025 on my GPS units.....

So I have SD cards for each of these countries and I just have to replace them as needed for where I am going.

I also make GPX files of the routes I am going to be taken for a hike or hikes.

Been hiking for over 25 years taking small groups and show them how to use handheld GPS units.

We all need to accept that different ppl simply do have personal preferences. That extends to use of a particular map which, despite its apparent deficiencies which are perhaps obvious to another user, is still the best choice for the other. i.e. "Horses for Courses".

Sufficient comments and reason for preference regarding various types of Portugal topo maps has now been made. Please refrain from further posts on this subject, thanks guys.
